MARION – A man was recently cited for Possession of a Controlled Substance and other offenses after Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies saw him commit a vehicle violation while traveling near Main Street and Old Creal Springs Road in Marion.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted a traffic stop just after midnight on Sunday, April 7 on the driver, Cedric A. Issac. Issac was discovered to have a suspended driver’s license and unable to provide proof of valid insurance.

Deputies saw Isaac’s nose running profusely and dripping down his face during the initial interaction. Deputies noticed what appeared to be a white or light colored powder within the mucus indicative of ingesting substances through the nose, commonly referred to as snorting.

Upon search of Issac incident to arrest, deputies discovered Isaac to be in possession of a substance which was later identified as Amphetamine and Dextroamphetamine, a schedule 2 controlled substance.

Isaac was cited for Driving While License Suspended, No Valid Driver’s License, Improper Lane Usage, Operating Uninsured Vehicle, and Possession of Controlled Substance. He was taken to and lodged in the Williamson County Jail.
