BENTON – Christopher John Grutzius, age 53, of Benton, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023, at his home.

His wishes are to be cremated.

A spaghetti benefit dinner Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Benton American Legion Post#280, 311 South Main Street, Benton, Illinois 62812.

The Leffler Funeral Home of Benton is in charge of the cremation arrangements.

Memorial contributions, in memory of Chris, may be made to his family to assist with the cremation expense, and may be payable to the Leffler Funeral Home, 401 East Main Street, Benton, Illinois 62812.
