CARBONDALE – There will be a car seat check event Saturday, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Carbondale Fire Station #2 on North Glenview Drive.

Certified car seat technicians from the fire and police departments will provide parents and caregivers with an opportunity to learn about child passenger safety and have their car seats checked for proper use and installation.

If possible, bring the child who will be riding in the car seat, the vehicle owner’s manual, and the car seat instruction manual. Please allow 30 minutes per car seat.
