CROSSVILLE – A Crossville man is facing drug-related charges following his arrest by White County Sheriff’s deputies Monday afternoon.
Authorities say Matthew J. Gwaltney was taken into custody around 1:15 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 1450 East and County Road 1950 North in Crossville. Deputies executed a White County arrest warrant for Unlawful Possession of a Stolen or Converted Vehicle.
After being searched, Gwaltney was additionally charged with Unlawful Use of Property, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Obstructing Justice, Possession of Hypodermic Syringes/Needles and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
He is lodged in the White County Jail pending a court appearance on the new charges.
