CARTERVILLE – John A. Logan College in Carterville will celebrate the expansion and renovation of the college’s C and E Wings with a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday at 11 a.m.
The revitalized spaces feature improved accessibility, upgraded infrastructure, and enhanced technology to support students, faculty, and staff better. The project, supported by the Illinois Capital Development Board, is part of a multi-phase plan to modernize campus facilities and expand academic opportunities.
The C and E Wing renovations are among the first of several grant-supported projects underway at John A. Logan College. Other projects include construction of a $14.2 million Career and Technical Education Center, installation of a new campus elevator, West Lobby expansion beginning later this fall, and expansion of nursing and allied health program classrooms and labs.
College leadership, local officials, and community members will join in the celebration, highlighting the institution’s continued commitment to student success, safety, and innovation.
