SESSER – Sesser Fire Protection District Chief Michael Rasnic passed away Thursday.
According to the fire district, funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 23, at 1 p.m. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a firefighter walk through at 12:45 p.m.
The funeral procession will leave the church immediately after the service, proceed to the Sesser Fire Station, and then return to Maple Hill Cemetery for graveside services.
If any department wishes to bring apparatus for the procession, they need to be at the church by noon.
