Rapper J.I.D has announced the release date for his fourth studio album, God Does Like Ugly, dropping on August 8th via Dreamville/Interscope Records.
The announcement follows the release of “WRK,” JID’s first new solo track since the 2023 double-single Blackboyz present Half Doin Dope/Van Gogh with Lil Yachty and BabyTron. Â ‘WRK’ arrived alongside an official music video directed by Chad Tennies and produced by Satin Heart, which you can check out HERE.
The rapper said in a statement: “Starting this new journey coming off ‘The Forever Story’ has been a very strange, productive yet tedious process, but I live my life by the saying ‘You can only control what you can control. So this is the first step into a new world that I control. And. It’s. F*cking. UGLY.”
