Live Music from Steve Hornbeak & The Mainstreet Players with special guest drummer Chuck Tilley from SIXWIRE starting at 6PM. Food trucks, wine tastings, and more.

American Ice Cream Truck, Pelzer’s Tropical Sno, and more vendors will be available. In the event of rain, the fireworks display will be postponed to Saturday, July 5, at 9:15 pm.

The Annual Greater Centralia Veterans 4th of July Parade will be held Friday, July 4, and begin downtown at 1:00pm, beginning at the intersection of West Broadway and South Chestnut, and traveling west on Broadway to Fairview Park. Fireworks at Fairview Park at 10:00pm.

Goreville Freedom Fest, celebrating Goreville’s 125th Anniversary. Parade at 10:00am, music by Johnathon Len and Kentucky Sound.

Carl Hustedde will DJ a variety of music as well as patriotic classic hits. Pork-N-Gene’s, The HotSpot, Sweet Squeeze Specialty Lemonade, Mrs Proctors Sno and Brea’s Teas will be set up and we will be selling chances to dunk the mayor in a dunk tank (all proceeds will go to the 5th annual Shawnee Sasquatch Festival). Event starts at 4pm, fireworks at dusk.

Boots & Badges Night, Thrillbillies vs Jackson Rockabillys. Hero Meet & Greet: Shake hands and snap photos with local police, fire, and EMS heroes! Touch-a-Truck Displays: Explore emergency vehicles around the park .Post-game Fireworks Show to light up the night in their honor.

We are having food, bands, and several bounce houses each of those days from 4pm to 7pm. 3 days of music, games, food and drinks, bingo, kids activities, car show, dunk tank, and more. Our fireworks will be on the 4th of July at dusk.

Come Celebrate with us! 50/50 tickets can be purchased at Marion VFW Post 1301 and La Fiesta Restaurant in Marion. *Additional FREE parking in the grass at Army Tank with shuttle service to and from The VFW for event.*

Bring your family and friends for an evening of food, music, inflatables, and a fireworks finale! $5 entry for ages 2 and up, with proceeds going to our Back to School Supply Drive.

39th Annual Salute to Freedom – Gates open at 5 p.m. for Kid Zone with inflatables and laser tag as well as a variety of food vendors. DJ from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Live music begins at 7:30 p.m., fireworks begin at dusk, Admission is free! Also enjoy Market Days in Mt. Vernon with a variety of craft, specialty, flea market items and more!
