MARION – Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies made an arrest after recovering a stolen vehicle late Sunday night in Marion.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies saw the vehicle knowing it had been previously stolen out of Johnston City. The vehicle was going south on Russell Street from Boulevard Street. Deputies pulled the vehicle over into a gas station parking lot.

The driver, 36-year-old Steven W. Brown, was arrested and taken to the Williamson County Jail, where he was cited with Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. A passenger was briefly detained and later released from the scene.
