BENTON – A water service disruption is planned for Monday for all facilities on Rend City Road from South Sandusky Campground to Rend Lake Project Office/Visitor Center.

The water service shutdown is necessary to repair a leak in the water main infrastructure; an estimated restoration time is to be determined due to the circumstances of the repair. After repairs are complete, a boil water order will be issued.

This shutdown will impact water service to the following areas: 

• South Sandusky Campground
• Rend Lake Marina
• Dam West Recreation Area
• Rend Lake Project Office/Visitor Center

During the shutdown: 

• Portable toilets will be placed at main shower house at South Sandusky Campground.
• Boil water notices will be posted at affected facilities.
• North Sandusky Campground and Day Use will not be affected.
