DDG is back with his newest track, “That’s My Ball,” which DDG had been giving fans a taste of on TikTok prior to its release.  The catchy hook—“that’s my ball”—is a term DDG introduced to describe someone’s romantic partner, and since then it’s taken off as a widely used catchphrase.

In May, DDG dropped his project Blame the Chat, following the buzz surrounding his groundbreaking Twitch event – the “Hit-A-Thon” – during which he livestreamed the entire album-making process over seven days straight on Twitch, staying live around the clock. Producers, collaborators, and fellow artists joined the stream to write, record, and brainstorm alongside DDG, while viewers offered input on everything from lyrics to beats.  By the end of the event, DDG had become the most-watched live channel globally on Twitch, breaking subscriber records along the way – with Ty Dolla $ign, Rich the Kid, BIA, DaBaby, and Wiz Khalifa all participating in the event.

DDG has also earned multiple RIAA-certified hits, including fan favorites like “I’m Geekin,” “Arguments,” “Hood Melody,” and the breakout song “Moonwalking in Calabasas.”
