BENTON – As Franklin County gets ready to open its new Emergency Operations Center at the sheriff’s office, Sheriff Kyle Bacon this week hosted a meeting with top law enforcement leaders from across the county that focused on enhancing interagency coordination, resource sharing, and technology updates to strengthen law enforcement efforts throughout the county.

Attendees also received a guided tour of the new EOC, including the Office of Emergency Management and Communications Communications Center, to better understand the facility’s capabilities.

The new facility is expected to be completed and online by the first of October with a public open house to be announced in late September.
