WILLIAMSON COUNTY – Severe storms Friday evening brought heavy rain, hail, damaging winds and tornadoes to our area.

Parts of Williamson County were especially hit hard by a tornado. No word at this time if there were any injuries or deaths.

We are awaiting word from the National Weather Service in Paducah as to the strength of the tornado that traveled through the county. We will pass that information along to you as soon as it becomes available.

Below are photos we took Saturday morning of the tornado damage in Williamson County.

If you have to be in these areas for any reason, please let the cleanup crews and power companies do their job to help everyone get back on their feet. Obey law enforcement on the scene. Take other routes.
