BLOOMFIELD, MO – Shirley Marie Barrett, 86, of Bloomfield, Missouri formerly of West Frankfort, Illinois passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023, at 6:45 a.m.

Shirley was born November 1, 1936, in West Virginia to John and Mary (Binkavich) Miscik. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church – West Frankfort.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Barrett, son Tim Barrett, parents, brother Ronald Kline.

Shirley is survived by her daughters Heather (John) Uhlig and Sondra Barrett, son Patrick Barrett, sister Gloria (Bruce) Rotramel, grandchildren Logan, Megan, and Nathan.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at St. John’s Catholic Church – West Frankfort, Illinois with Rev. Dr. Eusebius Mbidoaka officiating. 

Burial will be in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery – West Frankfort, Illinois. 

There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the church immediately prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
