CARBONDALE – Carbondale Police are investigating a report of shots fired in the 800 block of North Marion Street Saturday morning.

Police responded to the area around 11:10 a.m. and found that the suspect or suspects had already left the area.  

During the course of the investigation, officers learned a black male in a white, black, and red leather jacket and jogging pants was seen running from the area after the shots were fired. No injuries were reported, however, a vehicle was damaged as a result of the incident.
