CARMI – The Carmi Police Department released the following information on Monday, March 6, 2023.

Forty-year-old Coy B. Masterson of Burnt Prairie was arrested for Aggravated Battery at the Elks Lodge in Carmi Friday night.
Carmi officers arrived on scene around 10:35 p.m. and spoke to the involved parties. Masterson was placed under arrest for Aggravated Battery due to a battery that happened in a public place.
Masterson was taken to the White County Jail where he will be held with no bond until set forth by a judge.

Fifty-two-year-old Jason B. Stanton of West Frankfort was arrested around 10:20 Sunday night on a traffic stop at Oak and 6th for Possession of Cannabis in a motor vehicle. Stanton was also cited for Operation of Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration due to mandatory insurance.
Stanton was taken to the White County Jail. His bond was set at $250.

Thirty-five-year-old Sheena N. Garrett of Crossville was arrested at a traffic stop at Oak and 5th in Carmi around 7:50 p.m. Sunday for Operation of a Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration.
Garrett was taken to the White County Jail. Her bond was set at $250. Garrett bonded out just before 9 Sunday night.

Twenty-year-old Jenelle Janea Foster of Princeton, IN was arrested at a traffic stop on Illinois 14 at Industrial at 7:20 p.m. Saturday for Driving while License Suspended. She was also cited for Operation of a Motor Vehicle without Registration and Operation of Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
Foster was taken to the White County Jail. Her bond was set at $250. She bonded out just before 9:30 Saturday night.

Twenty-seven-year-old Jordyn E. Puckett of Carmi was arrested around 1:50 Saturday morning at a traffic stop on 5th and Main for Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Use of Property and Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle. Puckett was also cited for Operation of Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Operation of Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration due to mandatory insurance.
Puckett was taken to the White County Jail. Her bond was not set.
